John McEuen of the
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

During his hiatus from the Grammy and CMA Award winning Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, John was seen touring around the country with some great talents, including his own sons Jonathan and Nathan. Those who have been fortunate enough to see John and friends play in these casual, intimate settings have been in for a great surprise!

John has received recognition and awards for his film scores and solo CD's, including 'Acoustic Traveller."

Fans and newcomers alike were happy to see John and the Dirt Band reunited. They have been back on tour since 2001, with the release of COLUMBIA RECORDS "WILL THE CIRCLE BE UNBROKEN - VOLUME 3" double CD. More recently was the release of "Welcome to Woody Creek" (Sept. 2004) which has some great new material.

The "Circle 3" CD includes John's son Jonathan McEuen's cameo debut in "The Lowlands" along with Jaime Hanna (Dirt Band member Jeff Hanna's son) and Randy Scruggs (son of bluegrass banjo legend Earl Scruggs.)
